About Shakti Group
Shakti Group was founded in 1985 by Mr. Narayanrao B. Tatuskar, who transitioned from his family’s legacy garment business into cattle feed manufacturing under the name Shakti Feeds. The name “Shakti”—symbolizing strength, courage, and dignity—has since become the cornerstone of all our ventures.
Our roots trace back to 1950, with over 70 years of heritage in garment manufacturing and retail. In 2006, the group made a strategic shift, exiting the cattle feed sector to focus entirely on the automotive industry, beginning with the distribution of Maruti Suzuki Genuine Spare Parts and then finally breaking through with its first car dealership with Tata Motors in 2008. This pivotal transformation was driven by the vision and leadership of Mr. Venkatesh N. Tatuskar, who played a key role in repositioning the group’s direction toward modern, scalable, and service-led business models.
Since then, Shakti Group has grown into a trusted name in automotive retail, distribution, dealerships, and services, partnering with renowned brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, and Jaguar Land Rover.
In 2023, we expanded into the consumer lifestyle sector with the launch of Adishakti Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd., operating franchises for Tanishq, Mia by Tanishq, Titan World, Helios, and Fastrack in KR Puram, Bengaluru.
Continuing our journey of diversification, Shakti Group made its debut in the hospitality industry with the launch of Luxury Stays by Shakti. This venture is built on our deep-rooted commitment to quality and excellence, offering premium holiday homes and villas designed to curate unforgettable experiences for our guests.

I am Venkatesh N Tatuskar, proudly steering the Shakti Group as its Managing Director — a role that reflects not just my professional journey, but my personal philosophy of purpose-driven leadership. My passion for automobiles led me to venture into the mobility sector, where I have built a diversified conglomerate of dealership brands, driven by trust, performance, and customer delight. Travel is my soul’s calling — I find immense joy in exploring the world, immersing myself in diverse cultures, cuisines, and traditions. Every journey enriches me with new perspectives. My love for fashion and global luxury has shaped my identity — I believe in being “dressed for the occasion,” always expressing myself through refined personal style. I indulge occasionally in a round of golf, and find deep fulfillment in mentoring enthusiastic entrepreneurs and young professionals. Coaching, sharing knowledge, and helping others navigate challenges is a passion that keeps me grounded. An ardent car enthusiast, a student of life, and a seeker of excellence. Learning and continuous improvement are not just values — they are embedded in my lifestyle and the ethos of the Shakti Way. Over the years, of passion and perseverance it is gratifying to be honored Doctorate in Entrepreneurship and Startup Management by Central Christian University, USA. For me, true success lies in creating opportunities for others, giving back to society, and enabling people to thrive. This purpose inspires me every day — to lead by example, to grow with grace, and to make an impact that goes beyond business.

Passion for cars runs deeply in my blood. It is what drives me, it is what inspires me. And in-fact the passion is so deep that it has even become my purpose. My daily pursuit is connecting with like-minded people, working together and inspiring them to deliver equally inspiring experiences to people who have aspired to purchase and experience their dream cars. My contribution in the group surrounds developing processes, strengthening people and organisational culture, and ideating unique experiences, while exploring synergetic and inspiring collaborations. I strongly believe in maintaining a healthy and a deliberate work-life balance. Travelling is a hobby and a joy to my soul, and I ensure I take out time for that. And of-course invest in my hobbies too — collecting all things cars of all scales & sizes!

I’m currently serving as a Director at the Shakti Group of Companies, where I channel my energy and focus into growing our diverse business operations. Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about living life to the fullest and finding joy in the little things that make each day unique. Fitness plays a big role in my routine—it’s not just a hobby but a lifestyle that helps me stay grounded, disciplined, and mentally sharp. When I’m not at the gym, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, or exploring restaurants to try different cuisines. Cooking and food are a creative outlet for me, blending flavor, culture, and experience. I have developed a profound passion for watches, and I have a particular fondness for 70’s fashion—there’s something about the timeless style and character of that era that resonates with me. My love for cars and bikes goes beyond admiration—I enjoy driving and riding, especially when it leads me to offbeat destinations. Traveling and discovering lesser-known places fuel my curiosity and offer a sense of freedom and adventure. Whether it’s a scenic road trip, a new culinary experience, or a rare timepiece, I’m always seeking meaningful experiences that reflect who I am: driven, curious, and passionate about life’s finer details.

Art has always been my sanctuary. I love painting—it gives me a canvas to express my thoughts, emotions, and imagination in the most honest way. Whether it’s bold strokes or delicate details, each piece I create tells a story I often cannot put into words. Cooking is another deep passion of mine. I find immense joy in experimenting with new ingredients, dishes, and styles of food. For me, food is love and creativity served on a plate—it’s a way to connect, nurture, and celebrate life. I’ve always been curious by nature and believe that staying curious keeps the spirit youthful. I love talking to people, engaging in meaningful discussions, and exchanging ideas that can lead to something fresh and inspiring. Being around my loved ones—my family and friends—keeps me grounded. Their presence adds balance, peace, and happiness to my day. I’m someone who believes in keeping the inner child alive. I laugh loud, love deeply, and live with an open heart.
